The Fruit of the Vine
Women’s Ministry
“No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.” John 1:4
The women’s ministry at Cloud Springs is new and exciting! Planning special events, times of fellowship and small group Bible studies are some ways we are asking God to develop love, unity and godliness among us. It is our desire as ladies for all to see that our lives are the fruit of the true vine, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Having Bible studies on Wednesday nights has proven not only to draw us closer to God with daily workbook lessons but also to draw us closer as a church family of ladies desiring to walk according to God’s Word, encouraging each other along the way. Praise God, abiding in the Vine is certainly producing fruit! We now pray together, share our burdens, communicate our needs, and relate what God is teaching us weekly. We would love for you to be a part.
In addition, the monthly ladies’ nights out are a fun way to get away and spend time together. Fellowship is important, and eating together is usually on the agenda. Every lady is invited, from 18 to 108! Being together is simply fun.
Women on Mission is another ministry involving women at Cloud Springs. This is a ministry focused on missions, both in our community and around the world. It is a projects-based ministry to show the love of Christ and to share the message of Christ.
The really big events only come along three times a year, but they are not to be missed! Every year we hold our mother/daughter banquet the Saturday before Mother’s Day, and a Christmas tea the first Saturday of December. Certainly, a women’s conference will be scheduled in there somewhere, as well, usually in the summer.
As you can see, we are a happening group of ladies! We plan to develop our ministry to incorporate mentorships, ministry, and more missions, as well. So check back often to see the latest additions…and mark your calendars!!!
