How it all started...
Cloud Springs Baptist Church in Rossville, GA, was first organized in 1884. The church's core mission since its founding has been to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Founding and Early Years
The church was started with just fourteen members. The first building was a simple, boarded-up house constructed from lumber sawed on the property of one of the early members, George Washington Kelly.
To this day we sincerely believe that taking the Word to the uttermost parts of the Earth is our mission (Acts 1:8).

Expanding the vision...
"At our core, we believe that God is love. We are committed to extending that love to every person we meet and sharing the hope we have found through Jesus Christ."
Expanding the vision doesn't mean compromising the truth of scripture. At CSBC it means following God's leading into new territory. Putting NO limits on God and working till His return.
Where we are headed...
The 21st Century church looks a little different than it did in the days of Jesus, but we still have the same principles. We must continue to seek the lost and lead them to salvation. We must continue to support those that take the Gospel to other parts of our World. And we must always stand on God's word and let it lead in all that we do.
